1.Fully charged and discharged several time when you first time use the battery

3.Please store the battery in a dry, shady and clear place. And the capacity will lost if it is not be used for a long time.
4.The battery has a life time. It is time to change a new one the when use time become shorter and shorter after it had been charge for 500-800 cycles.
5.It will die if it is too cold. Someone asked if the battery can be kept in the refrigerator. The answer is yes as long as you keep it dry.
6.How Long Will the New Battery Power My Laptop?
This is difficult to determine. Actual laptop battery running time depends upon the power demands made by the equipment. The use of the monitor, the hard drive and other accessories results in an additional drain upon the battery, effectively reducing its running time. The total running time of the battery is also dependent upon the design of the equipment. Generally, a new eBatts.com battery will run at least as long (and usually longer) as your old battery did when it was new.
7.Ni-cd batteries, and to a lesser extent Ni-MH batteries, suffer from what's called the "memory effect".
What this means is that if a battery is repeatedly only partially discharged before recharging, the battery "forgets" that it has the capacity to further discharge all the way down.
Fully cycle (fully charge and then fully discharge) the battery at least once every two to three weeks.
